YE
This is the vowel "ye". It has approximately the same sound as the "you" in the English word "young." It is written with two short horizontal strokes followed by one downward vertical stroke. Like the vowel "ya", this vowel is also composed of the vowel "e" with an additional short stroke. Note, however, that the strokes are on the opposite side of the vertical line.
