H
This is the consonant "hi-uh". It has approximately the same sound as English "h". It is written in three strokes: two horizontal strokes, the second longer than the first, followed by a circular stroke written in a counter-clockwise direction. Note that this consonant will sound like a "t" when unreleased. Thus, for example, the name of the consonant ("hi-uh") will be pronounced as though it were spelled "hi-ut." Note also that when this letter is followed by a p, t, k, or j, that consonant will be pronounced with aspiration.
